That the Empty Homes Policy appended to the Cabinet report be approved and adopted.

To enable a clear and consistent approach to be taken to the manner in which empty homes are dealt with in Aylesbury Vale.

(c)        Alternative Options Considered

Not to approve the policy, but this would be inconsistent with the Council’s stated objectives to explore and implement innovative approaches to reducing the impact of empty homes on local communities.

(d)       Relevant Scrutiny Committee

Environment and Living.  That Committee has considered the report and is supportive of the policy.
